SELLING YOUR HOME

I look forward to advising and assisting you in all aspects concerning the sale of your home. A few of these considerations are outlined below (please enquire for further details ):

  • From the get-go we will meet to understand and clearly define your objectives and to discuss the trends, price points and the general market conditions in your area. I will provide you a detailed, written assessment of your property along with a suggested price point and an outline of what I feel is the best approach and marketing strategy.
  • Properly staging your home for sale is an important factor in helping to impress prospects and realize price point objectives. I will provide you a detailed to-do list for you to consider – tasks for the inside and outside of your home that, in all likelihood, should be undertaken – from removing clutter, to painting, repairing, gardening and more. When further assistance is needed, please consider my large support network – from mortgage brokers to renovation expert (click on Links above).
  • Today, promoting your home involves a wide range of activities and, from experience, I will be placing your property in the most productive mediums: from traditional lawn signs and print advertising in selected newspapers, to multiple local and global websites and social media. An open house to introduce your property to local Realtors will be held early in the process with public opens held at regular intervals.
  • Feature sheets and other marketing materials that describe the size and attributes of your home will be supplied.
  • I will provide you regular updates and, of course, contact you immediately upon receiving any promising enquiries.
  • When an offer is afoot and it comes time for negotiation, my trusted reputation for successfully arriving at a price point and overall end result is positively reflected in the many testimonials from my clients. I look forward with confidence to handling yours.

BUYING YOUR HOME

As with selling a home, buying one also involves considerable details and I look forward to helping you wend your way towards locating and negotiating a property that fits your needs and objectives. Some basic considerations:

  • We meet to discuss the basics: location, size, price range, detached home, condo, etc.? Having guided clients to virtually every kind of dwelling throughout most of Vancouver’s neighbourhoods, I know you will find my counsel helpful.
  • Today, finding the right property for you starts with online searching where a large number of listings are reviewable along with accompanying photos and videos. My website (this one) enables you to save time by accessing properties according to a narrower set of search parameters (size, location, price). Also consult local newspapers, magazines and attend open houses to better understand the market.
  • As with selling, there are many factors to consider and include when you find a property on which you wish to place an offer. I will help you prepare and negotiate an offer that is in keeping with your objectives yet reflects the realities of a competitive marketplace.
